Kitty Killer AND Moron!

“I question it based on a review of the video footage which I spent an hour or so looking at last night in my office,” he said in a lengthy speech in which he quoted medical texts and standards. “She certainly seems to respond to visual stimuli.” (emphasis added)

-- Doctor Bill "Kitty Killer" Frist on Terri Shiavo

Or she was BLIND you idiot! From what website did you get your medical degree, Doctor Dick?

When I read the autopsy report in these are the thoughts that flashed through my mind. My God rest Terri's soul, may God have mercy on the villians that used and abused our system and her parents for political gain and praise Jesus that her husband was finally released from his own private hell and damned be the media that villified this man for ratings. And this is coming from someone who is not prone to invoking God or Jesus.

Please, please, let this be the final proof that Bill Frist is a rug-headed idiot, diagnosing disease on a multi-year-old video based on the eye movements of a blind woman. And the media will make barely a peep, after Bush left his ranch for the first time in a so-called crisis to sign papers to change the constitution over this political pickle.

I love the "I told you so dance" you guys are all doint right now. Unfortunately I don't remember a single person claiming she was before the autopsy. In other words, Frist was just voicing an assumption we all pretty much made. Even the people who insisted she was in a PVS argued that her response to stimulii was just a reflex, not that she wasn't responding at all.

That's meant to read "was blind"

Also Brash here is some reading for you.

Make note of the child who died in Texas due to Bush's law.

Brash Limburg said...

Yes, yes crackpot, I know all about this. It's a shitty law, but I'm not quite ready to buy a "Impeach Bush" shirt.

BTW, I don't hear you contradicting the post above.

"Frist was just voicing an assumption we all pretty much made."

But why we were we put in the position where our assumptions mattered? Doesn't the autopsy confirm what her husband and her guardian in law maintained in the first place? Why should Frist get the benefit of the doubt and not her immediate family? I'm unclear why the government got involved to begin with.

Hey BL,

See the above post on Frist on the main page.

I didn't know she was blind. But I am not going to assume by three video clips shot years ago whether or not this women is brain dead. Expecially when 6 doctors and 30 radical judges back it up.

Crackpot Press said...

the got involved because Republicans are anti-Big Government.

They are against Government interfering in corporate and personal matters.

Oh wait that was a different Republican Party I was thinking of, ya know the one that freed the slaves.

I don't know why they got involved.

Warning: a DISTASTEFUL post.

On Fark someone had the very funny idea of videotaping their own butthole and sending it to Frist for a hemorhoid diagnosis. Mind you, I'm not going to do it. But it's got a touch of theater about that I find admirable.

Brash -

Here is my rebuttal. We are not doctors, we are not Senators, and we did not grand stand on the Congressional floor making false statements for political reasons to position ourselves as the Christian right Presidential candidate in 2008. We did not villify her husband. We did not hijack this poor woman's circumstances as a career move. I'm doing my "I told you so dance" right now, and will continue to do it all weekend. You know why? Because we were right, and all the "culture of life" people were wrong. We're right about Iraq (can you smell the quagmire?), we're right about the tax cuts (can you smell the inflation that's on the way?, we're right about G'Bay (Viva Dick Durbin!), we're right about Tom Delay (ship this ass off to the Mariana Islands and let him slave away in a sweat shop for the next ten years) -- I could go on and on and on. So, yes, I will dance away as the Bush Administration goes down in flames. And when it does, I will tap dance down Hollywood Boulevard screaming I TOLD YOU SO.

Look, none of this changes the fact that she was starved to death. And that is bullshit! They should have called Dr. Kevorkian in and put her out properly instead of letting her starve to death. It makes me sick just thinking about all the loudmouths wishing the tube was pulled out so she could starve. I agree with the ruling that it is the husbands choice and I even agree she should be allowed to pass on. Just not by starvation.
