Missing Activist is ALIVE!

The San Francisco Chronicle reported today that Frank Modesto, a HUGE activist in the early 70's is, in fact, ALIVE. Frank Modesto was reported missing in October 1976. From most accounts it was originally assumed that he had been murdered or abducted. There was even a theory that he had jumped off of the Bay Bridge.

Frank Modesto was one of the founders and spokesmen for the Progressive People's Peace Army, a liberal activist group. It was reported that he had ties to Mario Savio's "Free Speech Movement, " the Black Panthers (there is a rumor that he had an affair with Angela Davis)
and even the Mob.
