You can't flush a Koran or bible without tearing out separate pages of course. But just flushing toilet water over either is enough for fanatics to go bonkers.

Sure, it's degrading, even if not literal. I had a wealthy friend whose father held his head in the toilet while flushing it -- to punish him.

Humans rarely display their best side. Politics be hanged.
